Who we are
Nomaroma is a local classifieds website at nomaroma.com, where people browse listings, contact each other and arrange purchases directly.

Information we collect
- Account information: your name or display name, email address, protected password information, account preferences, sign-in sessions and verification status.
- Listings and seller pages: titles, descriptions, photographs, prices, item condition, selected location, availability, collection notes, optional deadlines, seller-page introduction, logo, cover image and optional moving date.
- Messages and saved activity: conversations, the listings they relate to, sender details and timestamps; saved listings and saved-search preferences.
- Support and safety: contact-form name, email, enquiry type, message and privacy-policy acknowledgement; reports, appeals, blocking records and moderation decisions.
- Technical information: connection and security information such as IP address, browser details, requests and timestamps processed by our website infrastructure. The contact form uses a hashed network identifier for temporary abuse limits rather than attaching your raw IP address to the enquiry.
How we use information
We use information to operate accounts and listings, display seller pages, deliver private conversations, remember preferences, handle support requests, review listings and reports, prevent misuse and maintain the website. Required form fields are needed to provide the requested function; optional profile and listing fields can be left blank.
What other people can see
Your published listings and seller page are public, including the display name, photographs, selected location and details you choose to add. People may copy or share public information. Do not put your exact address, phone number or sensitive information in public listing text or photographs unless you intend to make it public.
Your account email is not published as a standard seller-page field. Messages are available to the participants and may be accessed by authorised Nomaroma staff where needed to handle support, safety reports or service issues. Messages are not public listing content. We do not describe them as end-to-end encrypted.
Service providers and sharing
Website hosting, storage, backup, security and operational providers may process information needed to provide their services. Cloudflare provides website security and verification checks. Some resources, such as emoji images, may be requested from third-party infrastructure. Those requests can disclose technical connection information to that provider.
When you follow a social-sharing link or leave Nomaroma for another website, that service handles information under its own privacy terms. We may disclose relevant information when legally required or where necessary to handle a safety or security incident.
Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies and browser storage for functions such as sign-in, session security, destination and preference settings. Security providers may also use cookies or similar tools. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent account functions from working.
How long information is kept
A listing expiring after 30 days removes it from active browsing; it does not automatically delete the listing, its photographs or related conversations. Retention should reflect the need to provide the service, resolve enquiries and disputes, prevent abuse and meet legal obligations.
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this notice, taking into account account activity, unresolved enquiries or reports, security needs and applicable legal obligations. Contact us to ask about information we hold or to request deletion.
Your choices and rights
You can update supported account details and preferences in My account and manage listings from your dashboard. Depending on the law that applies, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it for future processing.
Contact us to make a privacy request. We may need to verify that the request relates to your information. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations, security or another person’s rights.
Payments, notifications and translation
Nomaroma does not handle payments between buyers and sellers. Arrange payment, collection or delivery directly and consider what information you choose to share with the other person. Website email delivery and automatic translation are currently disabled during development. This notice must be reviewed before enabling services that introduce new processing.
Keeping information secure
We use access controls and technical measures to protect the website and stored information. No online service can promise complete security. Keep your sign-in details private and contact us if you suspect someone has accessed your account.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when our processing changes and show its effective date. Effective date: 17 October 2026.
